    Basically, you eat six of his special cookie diet throughout a day with water when you are hungry. You will also eat a very lean protein and vege meal that is around 500 calories too. You will then eat a grand total of 1000-1200 calories a day.

    Now before you go off and try this diet know this: This is only for extreme dieting!

    Dieting like this will lead to a good amount of muscle loss. Dr. Siegal is only a fast way for his patients to lose weight. He recommends everyone maintain a healthy diet and exercise.

    There has been some criticism of the cookie diet, for one it lacks nutritional value. This is easily solved with vitamins.

    While this sounds fun, do think about how eating such low calories can affect your body and discuss it with your doctor. A number of health issues can occur if not done properly.
