On Thursday, November 2009, the 83rd Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be marching your way and all your favorite are getting ready for the big day on New York City!

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade is going where it’s never gone before – down 7th Avenue! Be there in New York City or tune in to NBC as Macy’s make history and and march down an exciting new route.
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2009 Route:
The parade will begin at 77th Street and Central Park West, marching South on Central Park West. It will then turn east onto Central Park South, instead of going down Broadway. When the Parade reaches 7th Avenue, the Parade procession will turn South at the corner of the Central Park South and march to 42nd Street. It will then travel east along 42nd Street from 7th to 6th Avenues. At 6th Avenue, the parade will veer South and march to 34th Street. At 34th Street, the parade procession will head west to Herald Square, ending at 34th Street and 7th Avenue.
Bring your kids to this once in a year Thanksgiving Parade and definitely they will have fun as they watch their favorite characters march down the road!
