Dancing With the Stars 2009 Winner: Dancing With The Stars winner name is now announced, as the show was wrapped up with a jam-packed two-hour finale Tuesday night. The winners is Donny Osmond.
Yes, Donny Osmond is the new champion of Dancing With the Stars, taking home the trophy in finale of the 9th season of the show.
Following the announcement of his name, Donny ran to the crowd, grabbed his wife and carried her onto the floor.
“I’m so happy to have made it to the finals. … We had the time of our lives,” said Mya, who came in second.
Osmond beat out singer Mya and Ozzy’s daughter Kelly Osbourne for the title. He joins winners including Kelly Monaco, Brooke Burke, and last season’s 1st place Shawn Johnson.
